The Cinco de Mayo celebration is a commemoration of Mexico’s defeat over France in the Battle of Puebla. Las Vegas is probably one of the best cities to celebrate, short of going straight to the source - Mexico, of course!
Beer Park in The Paris Hotel and Casino is not only a beautiful venue that gives patrons a chance to drink and dine while overlooking the Bellagio fountains, the atmosphere is incredible. Upbeat music and interactive games at every table create a high energy environment. Games include Cards Against Humanity and Jenga, and on Cinco de Mayo, guests will be able to enjoy croquet as well. The early shift of May 5th will pay homage to the Kentucky Derby, with staff members donning traditional Derby outfits and extravagant hats. Then, come nightfall, Beer Park will turn into a Cinco de Mayo rooftop paradise. Their drink specials will include their Grand Slam Peacharita priced at $11 and $44 margarita pitchers. The staff will change into their Cinco de Mayo garbs, including ponchos and handlebar mustaches. A mariachi band will start playing at 7:00 PM, and the evening will conclude with a DJ set by a surprise guest. Hornitos brand reps will allow guests to sample tequila between 7:00-10:00 PM, and piñatas, billiards, and foosball will be a part of the festivities all night long. Head on over to Beer Park and have some cervezas and a Spicy Chicken Quesadilla (or two).
Don’t leave Cabo Wabo without trying their house tequila!
Right next door to the Paris Hotel is Planet Hollywood Miracle Mile Shop, which is home to Cabo Wabo Cantina. Guests will enjoy live music and drink specials on Cinco de Mayo, including a tequila flight for $24, which includes blanco, reposado, and añejo. You can also try their signature margarita made with Cabo Wabo’s own tequila and Grand Marnier for $13. The party begins at noon - see you there!
Gold Spike’s Backyard in downtown Las Vegas is always a fun place to visit with their larger than life games, such as life-sized Beer Pong, Giant Jenga, and Giant Chess. But on Cinco de Mayo, it will be a taco and tequila-themed fiesta! Drink specials will include $3 pints of Modelo Especial, $5 bottles of Corona and Corona Light, and $5 shots of Casa Noble Crystal. Guests will enjoy a taco truck provided by Gold Spike, a mariachi band, and a tequila limbo contest. Special guest DJs Impakt and Freddy B will be keeping the party going until late into the night.
Finally, if you’re looking to get out of the sun and spend the holiday at a late night pool party, the Artisan has you covered. This adult-only venue has plenty of ornate, baroque décor and a topless-optional (toptional) pool. The pool will turn into an after-hours party from 7:00 PM - 3:00 AM. Grab a shot of tequila, take your top off, and celebrate Cinco de Mayo the right way!
